Two simple components — no surprises
📦 Subscription plan
Your monthly plan covers all the software — calendar, booking, reminders, payments, and any premium features included in your tier. The Starter plan is free forever. Upgrade when you need more staff slots, locations, or advanced tools.
💸 Marketplace fee
A one-time fee when the marketplace brings you a brand-new client (10% on Starter down to 5% on Enterprise, capped at $50). It is charged only on that client’s first marketplace booking, never again. Returning clients are always free, and bookings made directly through your own website, booking link, or QR code carry no marketplace fee.
💳 Card processing
Online card payments cost 2.2% + 30c per transaction. In-person taps on a BookNova Card Reader cost just 1.9% + 10c — lower than online. Everything is processed securely by Stripe, there is no other per-booking charge on direct bookings, and cash you take yourself costs nothing.
📉 Lower fees as you grow
Higher-tier plans come with a lower new-client fee rate, from 10% on Starter down to 5% on Enterprise (always capped at $50 per new client). If the marketplace sends you a lot of new clients, upgrading often pays for itself.

Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever. You only pay if you want premium features like SMS reminders, marketing tools, or advanced reports.
What is the marketplace fee?

What does card processing cost?

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Absolutely. Change your plan at any time — upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the end of your billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely by Stripe.
Do I need a contract?
No contracts, no lock-in. Pay monthly and cancel whenever you like. Prefer to pay yearly? Annual billing gives you 2 months free.
What is founding member pricing?
Businesses that join now keep their price for as long as they stay subscribed. If our prices rise later, yours does not.
I'm switching from Fresha, Timely or another system. How hard is it?
Easy. Export your client list from your current system and import it into BookNova in a couple of clicks, or send it to us and we will migrate you for free. Most businesses are taking bookings the same day.
