What BookNova is

BookNova is a booking platform. The appointments you book through BookNova are provided by independent businesses such as salons, clinics, studios and practitioners, not by BookNova. Each business is responsible for the services it delivers, its pricing, and its availability.

Bookings, deposits and cancellations

When you book, you enter an agreement with the business you booked. Deposit requirements, cancellation windows and no-show fees are set by each business and shown before you pay. If you cancel inside a business's cancellation window, its policy applies. Refunds of deposits are handled by the business through the platform, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Amounts are shown in Australian dollars before you confirm. Charges appear on your statement as BOOKNOVA.NET. BookNova charges participating businesses subscription and platform fees; these are never added to the price you see at checkout.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not misuse the platform: no false bookings, no attempts to access other users' or businesses' data, no interference with the service. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

For businesses

Businesses on BookNova must provide accurate service, pricing and availability information, honour bookings made through the platform, and hold any licences their services require. Subscription plans and fees are described on the pricing page. Payouts are made through Stripe to the business's nominated account.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BookNova is not liable for the acts or omissions of businesses on the platform, and our liability for the platform itself is limited to resupplying the service. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: bookings@booknova.net.
